If you’re looking for Tree Removal or Tree Trimming services, then we need to tell you a little bit About Us.
G&V is a family owned & operated business that has provided tree care service since 2001 in the Northern Virginia and Maryland area.
We specialize in Tree Removal, Stump Grinding, Tree Trimming, Crown Reduction, Tree Thinning, Pruning, Cabling and Bracing, and Snow Removal, in addition to so much more. Our tree care personnel are trained to manage everything from basic tree services to emergency tree removal, in addition to spending the least amount of time while using the proper equipment.
G&V is associated with ISA, TCIA and BBB. Our company is licensed and insured and therefore very reliable and trustworthy. We have worked hard to earn our impeccable reputation while delivering great customer service.
G&V Tree Service has been licensed since the company started in 2001, and we have carried full commercial coverage ever since. Coverage currently in force through July 25, 2027:
Workers’ compensation matters more than most homeowners realize: if an uninsured crew is injured in your yard, your homeowner’s policy can end up carrying the medical costs. View our current certificate of insurance (PDF), or call (703) 569-2570 and we will have a certificate issued in your name before work begins.
After being in business since 2001, we’re releasing our new and exciting logo. Inside the diamond are both initials, which represents our last names, formed in a tree. G is the top half while V is the bottom half. The GV tree is enclosed by a diamond which has a dual meaning. The first being to present the 4 owners of the company and secondly, representing four of our core values which are Honesty, Safety, Commitment and Growth.

Excellent company, great people. On two occasions, they came to the rescue immediately to remove a very large tree that fell on my house and both times did a fantastic job. The next time I need tree service G&V is the only company I'll call.
Excellent, price, service and delivery. Showed up on time, did the job that was needed and cleaned up after like they were never there. Highly recommended
Spoke to Edwin via telephone and scheduled appointment for Wednesday 9/25/2019 at 8:00am. Promptly booked appointment and answered phone.
They were on time, fast, professional, left the site clean, and did a great job all around. Also just happened to give the lowest bid. I've already recommended them to friends.
